We will be changing the name of The Station Inn to ‘Mountain Edge Cafe-Bar-Restaurant’ on completion of our new Lodges in Spring 2016. Until then the business is the same as normal and the only change will be much more going on with our cafe open longer for food and our opening times little longer.

One thing we pride ourselves on is delivering great food and hospitality and a few of our feature food days are where we bring a bit of flare to our service times.

Curry & A Pint Night

Vegetarian or meat curry of the week with rice and naan all for £7.95 – served between 6pm & 9pm


Fish & Chip Tuesday

We have our own secret beer batter that we coat and fry huge fillets of fresh fish, with traditional chips and mushy peas and tartar sauce and all for the delicious price of £6.95 – We can also do take outs – Service is between 12- 2pm & 6 – 9pm 


Midweek Roast

Lunchtime midweek roast served between 12 & 2pm £6.95 for one course £9.95 for two courses

Flat Iron Steak Sharing Taster Board

Served on a skillet with mushrooms and onions. This cut of steak is one of the tastiest and most tender and we have championed it for a long time. Its a cut of meat that takes a lot of preparation so is not often at the top of a butchers list of cuts to prepare for sale but it is one of the most juiciest and delicious cuts and we love it!  We pride ourselves on our steak quality and we would like to think we are probably the best in Shropshire & possibly the UK!


Build Your Own Burger & Build Your Own Pizza Night

We grind our own mince for you to build your own burgers from scratch! Build the most mouthwatering burger from the array of ingredients and toppings we have. Or fully load your ideal pizza with lashings of cheese and all served with chips and salad!

Butcher & Grill Night

Every Friday night we have the wonderfully created ‘Butcher and Grill’ night. Richard, The owner of The Station Inn is our master butcher and always has the most flavoursome meats. Walking up to our Butchers Counter, you order from all the meats on display and have it lovingly prepared and cooked to your liking on the spot! There is also a full dinner menu of starters, fish, poultry and vegetarian dishes in case you don’t fancy a big cut of steak.


Sunday Carvery

We always have our carvery on a Sunday Lunchtime. With a selection of the best cuts of roast joints and finest vegetables and our super tasty secret recipe thick gravy its one of Shropshire’s favourites.
