Our Log Cabins have now been open for 5 months and we cannot believe where the time has gone! The lovely thing about having accommodation to rent is the fact that we get to meet so many wonderful people and the Lodges have sure brought so many of you. We have had lots of people having relaxing 2 or 3 day stays as couples or mountain bikers and walkers renting for a few days on the beautiful Long Mynd Hills
Our log cabins have been open for 3 weeks and with summer finally here the trees and flowers are all coming out fast. Bookings are going well and we still have some availability into the summer months if you wish to book a holiday. Our new Log Cabins are now all installed and ready to Book for a break any time of year. We have them on special rates of 2 days in off season and 3, 4 and 7+ Holiday stays all year. We are in an ideal position for some breathtaking walks and mountain biking, having some of the best rated mountain biking country in the uk with the much coveted Minton Batch descent dropping half a mile behind us. Our Log cabins are nearing completion and they are looking fantastic. You can book in for a holiday now by clicking the Lodges tab above. We are really excited to bring you a further update on the progress of the log cabin build from the guys at British Log Cabins. We have a date for them coming in on sight at the start of April and then its a case of getting them all fitted out with gas and electrics and all the fixtures and fittings and furnishings put in place. They are such a great spectacle and such a fantastic building to stand in
The onsite groundworks for the log cabins are now in place and we expect our first cabin in towards the end of February. The groundworks extend into the distance as we have put down pipes and cables for further cabins in the future. We are really looking forward to getting the landscaping ready and the cabins going in. This week we popped over to British Log Cabins to see how our Lodges were coming on and they look fantastic. Built out of Douglas Fir which is a supremely resilient softwood its of the best quality and is used extensively in the building trade for its strength. British Log Cabins of course use British grown Douglas Fir. Its was interesting to see the cabins in the few stages of build with some of the logs still sat as felled trees while
