Our Camping Pods are affordable accommodation in the heart of the Shropshire hills, just 2.5 miles from the town of Church Stretton. The Camping Pods are simple, comfy, spacious and secure accommodation for up to four people. A Pod is a unique insulated wooden hut that provides basic accommodation, a hard-standing shield against the British weather at times!

Please note before booking: You will need to bring your own bed and bedding.

More About Our Camping Pods:

We have 6 Camping Pods to offer, all are the same size with the same interior and have good headroom. The interior floor area is some six feet wide by nine feet long. Each Pod sleeps up to 4 people and has a decking extension that provides the perfect platform to sunbathe, enjoy a sandwich, or just take in the fresh air. Or in the not-so-sunny seasons, a place to lose those wet shoes before going inside!

Our Camping Pods provide the perfect base to go out and explore the Shropshire hills. If you’re looking for a bit more luxury, why not try one of our fully furnished Mega Pods or Lodges, both of which have hot tubs.

What do the Pods have inside?

Each Pod has a hard-wearing floor, electric heating and a double socket. You will need to bring your own bed and bedding.

Dogs and Pets are welcome with a nightly fee.

Prices are based on a per nightly cost for 2 people from £50. Pods sleep up to 4 and each person extra is £10 per person per night. To book in on a Friday and Saturday we have a minimum two night booking policy.

Camp Site Pod Accommodation in Shropshire

Our Camping Pods are designed to be comfortable; the roofing material is designed to eliminate the noises of the outdoors and they are made from a naturally warm material, enhanced by sheep wool insulation. Pods are great for engaging with the great outdoors. They enable you to enjoy and appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the natural world.

Please note:

Check in is 2pm, Check out is 11am. Bring everything you would need for camping including a bed, the pods are an empty space with lights, two sockets and a heater, if you need extra sockets we recommend bringing a 4 way plug socket. There is a modern shower, wash and toilet facility a short walk from the pods, toilet paper is provided, hand soap, shower gel, etc… is not provided. Dogs must have bedding. Please note that all our pods are set into the hill and that there are steps leading to all of them. If you have mobility issues these may not be suitable.

What does it cost to stay in a pod?

– £50 per night for 2 people
– £10 per night for each additional guest (up to 4 total)

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, there is a 2-night minimum stay on Fridays and Saturdays.

When can we check in and out?

– Check-in: From 2:00 PM
– Check-out: By 11:00 AM

 

Food & Cooking

Can we cook inside the pod?

No. Pods do not include kitchens and indoor cooking is not permitted.
Guests can use BBQs or dine at the on-site Station Inn Restaurant.
